After trying to dispose of our cat's waste in plastic bags every day in the trash (the smell became unbearable) we invested in a LitterLocker Plus. One bag insert lasts us a month and we don't smell a thing! The product is easy to use and the clumps of waste are nicely concealed in the system. I would highly recommend as a solution for the disposal of cat waste!

I'm lazy, I'll admit it - I don't like having to take a little bag of shtanky stuff outside to the trash can half a dozen times a day! This litter locker is the perfect solution. I have 2 cats and change the cartridge every 2 to 3 weeks. It traps the smell just fine and is easy to use once you get the cartridge in right.
Therein lies the rub, though. Tying just one knot doesn't seem to be enough for me - I have to tie two knots, or tie a knot and then cycle the wheel around. This just seems like a waste of bag for me, so I end up actually tying the knot, dropping a load, and *then* placing the knot in the wheel and turning it to set it up. Now, doing this once every 2 - 3 weeks is better than taking a grocery bag of non-groceries to the trash a few times a day, but it's still kinda icky!

The litter locker itself is a great invention. The down side is that the cartridge doesn't last long enough. Our adult cat goes through a fair amount of litter so it fills up quick. We get about a week before we need start a new bag and only about three weeks per cartridge.

This is a really great product to have for cat owners. I clean the litter box twice a day and no longer have to hunt down plastic baggies around my kitchen and leave the little stinky presents outside on the balcony until I can fill the big trash bag full of garbage and finally dispose of the mess. The only downfall is that the blue plastic baggies are thin and may tear when you open the box to throw out the mess so be careful and have a plastic bag handy!

This item is a time saver and really does work. The only thing I have is that it does fill up quick with three cats. But once it gets too full to turn, I empty it, cut the plastic, knot it, and start fresh again with the rest of the refill and just keep using it until it runs out. Does save time and keeps the smell locked into the container.
